Women’s Lacrosse Ranked No. 23 in ILWomen Media Poll

RICHMOND, Va. – The Inside Lacrosse Kane Women's Division I Media Poll released its Week 8 rankings, with Richmond moving up two spots to No. 23.
The Spiders hold an 8-2 record this season, including an undefeated 5-0 mark in Atlantic 10 play. The team's only losses came against ranked opponents, falling by one goal to then-No. 24 Penn State, 10-9, and then-No. 23 Duke, 15-14, in overtime.
Last Saturday, then-No. 25 Richmond used a decisive advantage in possession and draw controls to defeat St. Bonaventure, 19-6, improving to 8-2 overall and 5-0 in conference play while extending its winning streak to six games.
Richmond is the only Atlantic 10 program to appear in the poll this season.
The Spiders return to action Saturday, April 4, against La Salle in Philadelphia.
