DAVIDSON, N.C. - Junior Katelin Peterson moved into the top-10 at Richmond in career goals and points, but the Richmond field hockey team lost to Davidson 3-2 in overtime Saturday.
Peterson scored her 29th career goal, which brings her into a tie for 10th on Richmond's all-time career list with 29 goals. The goal, her fourth of the season, gave Peterson 70 career points, which puts her 10th on Richmond's all-time list.
Richmond senior Dani Pycroft also scored her fourth goal of the season, giving her 23 for her career. Pycroft has 58 career points.
The Spiders return to action Sunday when they play at No. 13 ranked Duke on Sunday.
