Richmond Falls On The Road At Davidson

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The University of Richmond Spiders baseball team fell on the road at Davidson on Friday afternoon, 22-7.
With the loss, Richmond falls to 26-23 on the season overall and to 14-9 in Atlantic 10 play. With the victory, Davidson improves to 26-19 on the year and to 14-9 in league action.
Heading in to the final day of the regular season on Saturday, Richmond sits in a tie for second place with both Rhode Island and Davidson in the conference.
Offensively for the Spiders, OF Michael Morman led the way for the Spiders, batting 4-for-5 with a home run, a double and three RBI. OF Tanner Stanley went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored.
DH Kyle Adams had three hits for Richmond, while 1B Doug Kraeger had two hits and a RBI. OF Jansen Fraser had two hits and drove in a run, while SS Tyler Beckwith also had two hits in the loss.
The Richmond Spiders baseball team will conclude its three-game, Atlantic 10 series with Davidson on Saturday First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m.
