Annie Nash Earns NFHCA Scholar of Distinction Honor

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond rookie Annie Nash (Midlothian, Va.) was announced as a National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I Scholar of Distinction, the organization announced Tuesday.

Nash appeared in all 19 contests at midfield for the Spiders. This fall, she made her first collegiate start against Lock Haven (Oct. 15). She registered one shot in her rookie campaign, against Saint Joseph's (Sept. 26). She also was named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad on Feb. 8.

The NFHCA Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2021-22 academic year
